Understanding whom you are dealing with and what they believe in is important, especially if you are entrusting the welfare of your child to a program. All of our staff are accredited and qualified with Gymnastics Australia, have undergone Working With Children Checks, police checks and are First Aid qualified. Staff have been specifically selected because they believe in our philosophy and are dedicated to our mission.

Adam

Adam is co-director of Evolve Gymnastics. With a passion for physical activity, Adam grew up as a competitive swimmer. As a teenager he began participating in recreational gymnastics classes, where he developed a love for the sport. He began coaching recreational gymnastics with children aged 5-12 years whilst completing a university degree in teaching (PDHPE). During this time, Adam became involved in competitive gymnastics. In his own time, he volunteered alongside some of the best coaches in Australia, to improve his knowledge, understandings and coaching abilities. Adam and Maegan have produced numerous high level athletes, with a number of their Level 10 gymnasts representing NSW at the Australian Championships and Border Challenge. During these events, Adam and Maegan's athletes achieved top 3 placings, including national apparatus champions.
Over the past few years, Adam became involved in gymnastic club management, implementing quality programs for gymnasts of all ages, as well as coach education programs. Adam is a highly valued presenter for Gymnastics NSW, regularly presenting at coaching courses.
In his personal time, Adam loves the outdoors. He has a passion for the flora and fauna of the local bushland and spends time with his little boy, exploring the local National Parks.

 

Maegan

Maegan is co-director of Evolve Gymnastics. Maegan grew up loving gymnastics. She quickly moved from a recreational gymnast to a competitive one, committing her time to training in a high levels program. During her last few years as a gymnast, Maegan developed a love for working with children. She began coaching competitive and recreational gymnastics and, following the completion of high school, Maegan went on to become a primary school teacher, with a passion for teaching Kindergarten. She spent four years working as a Regional Leader, teaching Kindergarten teachers how to teach literacy to their students. Maegan has also used these presentation skills to present coach education courses for Gymnastics NSW.
In her personal time, Maegan enjoys spending time with her little boy, playing at the park and sharing in his learning of new things. 

 

Laura

After participating in competitive gymnastics for many years, Laura has become an Advanced accredited coach and has completed her Beginner Judging accreditation. She is currently studying Exercise Sports Science at the University of Sydney. She is hoping to further her studies and continue her love for sport by doing Physiotherapy. Laura loves helping people succeed and improve in their chosen sporting endeavours. She enjoys working with children and her bubbly laugh can frequently be heard around gym.

 

HAYLEY

Hayley is a passionate coach who loves watching kids learn and develop both in physical skill and self-confidence. She is an Advanced qualified coach and has her Intermediate Judging accreditation. Hayley is currently studying a Bachelor of Technology and Innovation at UTS. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends and playing with her puppy!

 

Lauren

As an athlete, Lauren was an elite gymnast. Her passion for gymnastics has continued into a passion for coaching. Whilst currently studying nursing, Lauren enjoys coaching children and seeing their passion for gymnastics blossom. Lauren is an Advanced coach and beginner judge.

 

JESS

Jess has recently retired from Competitive gymnastics to focus on coaching and university studies. After competing to Level 10 and achieving numerous national team and individual medals, Jess developed a love for coaching our young athletes.

 

Bec

Bec is currently studying primary school teaching at UTS. She loves watching students be able to work towards and accomplish their goals both in and out of the gym. When she's not coaching or studying, Bec enjoys rockclimbing and catching up with friends.
Bec is an Intermediate in Gymnastics for All and Kindergym.

Jess 

Jess is originally from England and has been in Australia for nearly 6 years. 

She has a BSc (HONS) degree in Sports Science and is a FIG 2 qualified WAG coach. She has just attained her Intermediate Kinder Gym certificate and has a Level 1 accreditation in Strength and Conditioning. Jess has been coaching gymnastics for over 14 years, with experience in high level gymnastics as well as kinder gym and development. She loves working with little ones so that she can be a big kid too!

Rosie

Rosie competed in Gymnastics as a young girl and resumed her passion for it after landing her dream coaching job at Evolve. She is currently working towards her Advanced Qualification and loves to inspire the smiles on young athlete’s faces when they achieve their goals. In her spare time, she loves to cocoon herself in blankets in front of a good Netflix series.

Helen

Helen is a loving mother of 3 and has been involved in competitive gymnastics for over 10 years. She has furthered her love of this sport by studying to complete her accreditation in Intermediate and Kinder Gym Intermediate coaching levels. She loves seeing the children develop their skills and build their confidence in the gym. Helen bubbles over with enthusiasm and loves seeing everyone giving it a go and having fun. She has a wide range of interests including cooking, crocheting and sharing great times with her family.

 

Georgia

Georgia is a retired gymnast who reached level 8 and competed in over 8 State Championships. She represented NSW in the 2015 Border Challenge gymnastics competition. Georgia started competitive gymnastics at the age of 8. She has trained under Adam and Maegan and is now an enthusiastic gymnastics recreational coach. She coaches Beginner and Intermediate levels on a Tuesday afternoon. Georgia is currently studying for her Diploma of Early Childhood and Education at Meadowbank TAFE. She loves working with children, helping them to develop confidence and achieve their goals. Georgia also loves spending time with her family and friends, especially when they go on holidays together.

 

Maddie

Maddie has been involved in gymnastics, both as a coach and gymnast for over ten years. As an accredited Intermediate coach, she loves helping young gymnasts achieve new skills while having fun in the gym. As a competitive gymnast, she has represented NSW numerous times and continues to love participating and competing in her sport. Maddie is currently finishing her Year 12 studies and plans to study biomedical science at university next year. Fun fact: Her favourite drink is orange juice!

Charli

Charli is a fun-loving and enthusiastic worker. She is a perfectionist and likes to know what is going on. She is an ex-gymnast and thoroughly enjoys helping others live the same experience she was grateful for. She continued until 2017 and decided to start coaching as she still loves the sport. Charli is attending high school, getting prepared to join the defence force after Year 12. She strives to make everyone feel included in every activity, competition or event and is always keen to lend a helping hand. Charli is a fun-loving worker who is brilliant with kids and is always willing to learn and do more for our community. With her positive attitude and diligent efforts to succeed, she is a wonderful asset to our team and our family!

 

Charlize

Charlize is a retired gymnast who participated in the sport for almost 10 years, competing at both a National and International level. She has a passion for sharing her love of gymnastics with others and is excited to utilise her passion and continue to be involved in the sport of gymnastics at Evolve. In her spare time Charlize loves to be immersed in a good Netflix show and spend time with her friends and family. 

 

Scott

Scott is currently studying for his HSC at Oakhill College. He loves being a part of our Evolve family and is a keen participant in our teen gymnastics program. He enjoys seeing our young gymnasts achieve their dreams, both in the gym and other aspects of their lives. In his spare time, he loves to play and referee basketball and going out with friends. He has achieved his Beginner accreditation and is currently training and working towards his Intermediate coaching level.

 

Adrian

Adrian is an elite gymnast training at the NSW High Performance Centre. He has competed at the Australian Gymnastics Championships for the last 4 years. He has also competed internationally at the 2018 Hong Kong Open Championships and has been selected to be a part of the Australian Junior National Squad. He brings his wealth of gymnastic experience to our students and has achieved his Beginner level accreditation. Adrian enjoys coaching children and sharing his knowledge of gymnastics. During Adrian’s spare time, he enjoys jamming on his guitar.

 

Tamarah

Tamarah is a dedicated Year 10 student who has been very successful in her studies so far, especially in PDHPE, receiving third overall for last year. It was at gymnastics where she found her love for sport. Tamarah started gymnastics at 18 months old and has continued through to competitive levels. She finds gymnastics a very rewarding sport that has helped build great friendships and given her loads of fun. She currently enjoys participating in touch, netball, boxing, dance and acrobatics and is currently training to become a recreational gymnastics coach at Evolve.

KYLAH

Kylah is a former competitive gymnast who has been involved in gymnastics since she was 4 years old. Kylah believes that the best way of expressing her passion and interest for the sport is through teaching kids how to love it as much as she does. She is currently a Year 8 student who is dedicated towards school work and believes that an school education is just as important as a sport education. Kylah’s dream job when she grows up is to become a physiotherapist for a sports team. Kylah is extremely excited to watch kids at Evolve accomplish personal goals as well as creating stronger relationships with each other and herself.
